WORKSHOP ON ELECTRICAL- CADD

The Department of EEE has conducted an One Day Workshop on “ELECTRICAL CADD” on 05th October 2018. Nearly, 70 students of circuit branches from Muthayammal college of Engineering attended this workshop. Er.R.Karuthiruman, Central Head and Project Manager, CADD Centre, Chennai is the resource person this workshop. He explained about the usage of Electrical CADD in industries, and its applications in day to day life with real time examples. During practical session (using CADD), he also explained about the Electrical CADD circuit design, before hardware implementation. Electrical CADD workshop equips the students with the fundamentals of the different software needed for electrical design.The students perfect their skills of electrical computer aided design and drafting and also learnt the symbol naming conventions, usage of multiple symbol libraries, hydraulic and P & ID symbols, generation of PLC layout modules and insertion of PLC modules. Students designed electrical schematic, control circuit diagrams, and documentation using industry specific electrical soft tool in this workshop.
