Guest Lecture on “Solar Panel Cleaning and Efficiency Improvement”

On 30th November 2023, the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering successfully conducted a one-day Guest Lecture on the topic of “Solar Panel Cleaning and Efficiency Improvement.” The esteemed speaker for this event was Dr. V. Vignesh Kumar, a Professor from the Department of EEE at the prestigious National Institute of Technology, Karnataka. During the lecture, Dr. Kumar provided valuable insights into the fundamentals of solar panel operation, various MPPT algorithms, cost-effective approaches to cleaning solar panels, as well as the challenges and methods for enhancing their efficiency. The students actively engaged in the lecture and had an enriching question and answer session with the esteemed resource person.
