Workshop on Electrical Wiring Harness

The department of Mechanical Engineering has organized a Workshop on “Electrical Wiring Harness” for our students from 16.03.2018 & 17.03.2018 for IV year students and 02.07.2018 to 20.07.2018 for III year students. Our Chief Guest Mr.S.Boopathi, Assistant Manager, GGS Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Chennai interacted with mechanical students. Students were trained on the assembly of harnesses and its related hardware such as fuse blocks, panels, relays, switches etc. He explained about drawing is created having background converted as drafted entities, worked on many wiring group drawings for different models of cabs and other subassemblies. He also explained different ideas using blanking, rotated cross sections, Z-clippings, simplified Reps and used separate techniques (faster editing) in converting the background geometry to drafted entities which is a normally a time consuming job.
