The Webinar titled “Engineering Physics” was organized by the Department of Science and Humanities and Science Club on 08.12.23. Dr. K. Anandalakshmi, an Assistant Professor from the Department of Physics at Periyar Arts College, Cuddalore, graced the event with her esteemed presence. Serving as the Resource Person, Dr. K. Anandalakshmi conducted a detailed discussion on the five practical applications of quantum mechanics. These applications encompass MRI Scanners for Medical Imaging, LASERS, Solar Cells, Electron Microscopes, and the Global Positioning System.
