Anna University Zone – 8 (Men & Women) Chess Tournament

The Anna University Zone – 8 Men & Women Chess Tournament was recently held at Muthayammal Engineering College in Rasipuram. A total of 15 colleges participated in the Men’s team category, while the Women’s team category saw competition from 10 colleges. Notably, Muthayammal College of Engineering women’s team achieved an impressive second place, while the men’s team secured a commendable third place in the tournament. The members of the Men’s team included B.Ajay, GU.Madheshwaran, S.Manojkumar, S.Sridharan, A.Suryanarayanan, and S.Kishorekumar. On the other hand, the Women’s team consisted of A.Thenmozhi, T.Ishwarya, R.Rithika, J.Dhanavidhya, and S.Vidhya.
