FDTP ON “BE8253 – BASIC ELECTRICAL, ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERING”

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has organized Centre for Faculty Development, Anna University, Chennai Sponsored Faculty Development Training Programme (FDTP) on “BE8253 – Basic Electrical, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering” from 11.12.2017 to 17.12.2017. Dr.M.Gopinath, Professor and Head/EEE, Dr.N.G.P Institute of Technology, Coimbatore was the chief guest and resource person of this programme. The Chief Guest in his keynote address emphasized the significance of the FDTP and highlighted the concepts imparted by such programmes. The main objective of the faculty development training programme is to facilitate research and faculty members by presenting research issues and challenges in various aspects of electrical, electronics and instrumentation. This programme focuses on related and emerging topics makes the participants to get and insight into current technological advancements. During the seven days of FDTP 14 session lecture was imparted by the various resource persons to the 25 participants of faculty members from the various institutions. Participants interacted with the experts and among themselves during the session. In the last day of FDTP Dr.I.Thagarasu, Professor/EEE, Government College of Engineering, Bargur gave the valedictory address. On the whole FDTP received a lot of positive feedback from participants and it paved the way for participants to implement their lecture in class
