GUEST LECTURE ON POWER SYSTEM ANALYSIS

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a Guest lecture on “Power System Analysis” for the 45 students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering on 08.10.2018.Dr.N.Mohanandhini, ASP/EEE of Muthayammal Engineering College, Rasipuram was the resource person for the guest lecture. She delivered the lecture on the “Power System Analysis” and explained the importance of power system analysis in Electrical Engineering, Grounding and Bonding Analysis (for safety, to prevent ground-loops, to reduce dust explosions). She also discussed Opportunities to reduce demand and energy costs, Reports highlighting problem areas, Recommendations on solutions and equipment to system-wide problems, Information on how and where energy was being used (electrical bills do not break it down to this level), Reassurance of protective device ratings and to avoid damage and injuries. All the students felt that the lecture was useful and the resource person has also given the feedback about the students that they are very responsive for his lecture.
