National Level Technical Symposium FURIOSA’ 2018

The department of Mechanical Engineering has organized National Level Technical Symposium FURIOSA’ 2018 on 02nd March 2018. Dr.V.Balusamy, Professor, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore was the chief guest for the symposium. He informed that the mechanical engineering students should try their level best to explore the available opportunity in the mechanical field. There was a great response from various Engineering college participants for the symposium. More students from various Institutions have participated in the technical events like Paper Presentation, CAD Modeling, Engine Assembly, Project Display and non-technical events like Quiz, Fun Games, and Water Rocketry. Out of 280 students, 60 students participated in the paper presentation in the areas like Thermal, Design, Manufacturing. The paper presentation was held in the Mechanical department and the students showed keen interest to participate in technical events. Winners of all the events were identified by the event coordinators. 1st and 2nd places were rewarded with cash prize and gifts for all the events. Other participants is motivated with participation certificate.
