National Level Technical Symposium TECHNOFEST 2020

The department of EEE has organized National Level Technical Symposium TECHNOFEST 2020 on 28th February 2020. Mr. Sri Senthil Sevvel, Country Head –TQM, WABCO India Limited, Chennai was the resource person of the symposium. He delivered briefly the introduction about role of engineers for society, innovative thinking and practical implementation in real time projects. He quotes “You know that with talent and determination and hard work, you can accomplish what few others can. You succeeded”. There was a great response from various Engineering college participants for the symposium. More than 190 students from various Institutions has participated in the technical and non-technical events. Out of 190 students, 70 students participated in the paper presentation. The paper presentation was held in the EEE department and the students showed more interest to participate in technical events. Winners of all the events were decided by the event chair persons. Cash prize and reward certificate has been given for best papers and for all the other events 1st and 2nd places were rewarded with the gifts and remaining all the participants is encouraged with the participation certificate. Finally, students shared their feedback about the event and expressed their experience in the college premises.
