Pre- Workshop on International Design Competition

The department of Mechanical Engineering has organized an Pre- Workshop on “International Design Competition” for our students on 20.09.2018. The introduction of basic design software was conducted by guest speaker Mr.E.R.Santhosh Kumar, Design Engineer, CADD Center Training services Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. He started his speech by questioning and describing what is design software? The interaction was gradually built up towards the point that in present day using design software in various area like engineering field, automobile industries, construction areas etc., He spoke about the importance of design software like AUTOCAD, Creo, CATIA, Solidworks and Ansys Software in the field of mechanical Engineering. During the course of workshop, students had an opportunity to interact with the speaker and discussed on software questions and planning of their academic research projects.
