Workshop on PLC and MATLAB Tools

The department of EEE has conducted One Day National Level Workshop on “PLC and MATLAB Tools” on 3rd July 2019. Almost 45 students from the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has participated in the workshopEr.R.Praveen was the resource person of this workshop. He explained about the usage of programmable logic controller in industries, types of PLC and its applications in day to day life with real time examples. During practical session (using SIMULINK), he also explained about the MATLAB a high performance language, circuit design, before hardware implementation. He states that “MATLAB programing is very easy by using building blocks that’s only benefit, but I prefer do programming with RS logic only because it requires very less memory space compare to MATLAB programs”.
